Witness a Fire Torn Landscape

Midland School Trails after the fire - Ray Ford Photo

One of Trails Council's flagship projects is the building and maintaining of trails in the foothills of the San Rafael Mountains at Midland School, which burned in the Lake Fire this July. We are currently preparing the trails for the upcoming rainy season.

We have made special arrangements with Midland School for guided group hikes with 12-15 people to walk the Lovers Loop Trail on the next two weekends. The trails are on private property and will likely be closed to the public until spring.

You are invited to see the fire-damaged landscape. To reserve a spot on one of the days listed below, RSVP to explore@nullsbtrails.org with the date selected and contact information.
