Waldorf Students Provide $700 Grant for Los Carneros Rehabilitation
Posted by Mark Wilkinson on May 1, 2010 in Grants | 0 commentsEvery spring Waldorf students engage in a community walk-a-thon to raise funds for student programs. In addition, the students choose a worthy cause for which they donate 10% of the proceeds from the walk. This year the students provided the Trails Council with a $700 check for use in its rehabilitation efforts at Lake Los Carneros.
Thanks to the students, the preserve is now undergoing a major update to its many miles of trails.
