Join us for an unparalleled race destination weekend in Los Olivos, California. This charming historic town of 1,000 residents is located in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley and approximately 40 minutes from Santa Barbara. The race location is minutes from Los Olivos where you will drive along pastures and cattle ranches ending at Midland School Ranch adjacent to Los Padres National Forest.
Midland School
This amazing property is part of the Midland School property and now managed as part of a conservation easement with the Land Trust for SB County. The network of trails was created with the help of many including the Santa Barbara Trails Council and a generous grant from the WW Foundation in Pasadena. In order to continue to maintain the trails for future running all proceeds from this event will go to maintaining Midland trails.

Rain Day Race Cancellation Information
Current weather reports indicate a good possibility that there will be rain either on Friday November 30 or on race day December 1. If the race is cancelled, it will be re-scheduled for Saturday December 8, same race start times. You will be notified if rain causes us to re-schedule no later than Thursday morning, November 29.
Santa Barbara Trails Council promotes good trail use practices and that includes not running on trails that are wet or muddy. Many of the Midland School trails are very sensitive due to recent work on them and we do not want to damage them.
We hope that rain doesn’t force us to re-schedule to December 8 but if it does we’ll let you know no later than Thursday.
Happy Running & Racing
